Get In TouchIndoor play spaces are increasingly popular in Canadian communities, giving children a safe and exciting place to release their energy. One recent project combined multiple attractions—ranging from a ball pool to trampolines—to create a family-friendly venue that appeals to both kids and parents.
The client was a retired schoolteacher in Ontario who decided to open a small family entertainment center. With years of experience working with children, she noticed that her town lacked a safe, all-weather play area. She first discovered us through a recommendation from a former colleague who had visited a trade fair and seen our catalog.
Her primary motivation was to build a space where learning and play intersected. While profitability was important, she emphasized that the center should encourage physical activity, social interaction, and creative play for children between the ages of 3 and 12.
After careful planning, we proposed a layout that blended physical activity with sensory play:
Ocean Ball Pool – A vibrant ball pit that immediately captures children’s attention. It serves as a safe starting point where younger kids can play freely.
Bumper Ball Arena – Inflatable bumper balls were added for friendly collisions and laughter. This section was designed with padded flooring to ensure safety while keeping the energy high.
Spiral Slide – A tall, twisting slide that offers both excitement and a challenge. Its visual impact alone made it a centerpiece for the entire playground.
Trampoline Section – Designed for group play, the trampoline area encourages exercise while ensuring children remain entertained for longer visits.
Bright colors and themed decorations were chosen to reflect the cheerful, welcoming nature of the venue.
The equipment was delivered in stages to make it easier for the customer to prepare the site. Our installation team coordinated with local contractors to ensure smooth setup, paying special attention to spacing and safety requirements. The process was completed ahead of schedule, allowing the center to open just in time for the school holidays.
Since opening, the play center has seen a steady flow of families. Within the first three months, weekly attendance grew by 55%, and parents began booking the facility for birthday parties.
The client noted:
“Parents tell me they finally have a place where their kids can burn off energy while they enjoy a coffee nearby. The spiral slide is the kids’ favorite—they line up again and again.”
Local social media groups also played a role in spreading the word. Photos of children diving into the ball pool and laughing in the bumper ball arena quickly circulated online, boosting visibility without the need for extra marketing.
This Canadian project illustrates how childrens indoor play equipment can be adapted to meet both business goals and community needs. With a mix of slides, trampolines, and interactive play zones, the center now offers a balanced environment that entertains, educates, and brings families together.
