Kidtastic Park – 350sqm Indoor Playground Project in Cypress, USA | Zhenghan Play

This technical report details the engineering, manufacturing, and safety compliance of the Kidtastic Park indoor playground, located at 25410 US-290 Suite B-8, Cypress, TX 77429. The total installed area is 350 sqm and features a jungle-themed environment serving children aged 3–12.

The installed system integrates multiple commercial play modules. Key equipment units include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Slide units

• Carousel

• Shooting game units

• Birthday party activity zone

• Additional climbing, crawling, and soft-play elements distributed throughout the structure

As a professional indoor playground manufacture, Zhenghan Play was responsible for full structural design, material selection, in-house fabrication, and pre-assembly inspection. All components were engineered for commercial load-bearing, high visitor throughput, and long-term operational durability. The project demonstrates Zhenghan Play’s capability to deliver reliable, safe, and aesthetic indoor playground equipment to meet client expectations.

The main framework uses galvanized steel pipes (Ø48 mm × 2.5 mm), providing high compressive strength, bending resistance, and long-term corrosion protection.

Play platforms are made from 15 mm thick moisture-resistant boards, layered with 30 mm high-density EPE (pearl cotton) to absorb impact.

Walking surfaces for children are covered with 0.45 mm flame-retardant PVC, offering both abrasion resistance and fire safety. Decorative and soft-play areas use 0.9 mm flame-retardant PU leather.

Slides are fabricated from fiberglass-reinforced plastic (FRP) to ensure smoothness, strength, and long-term durability. EVA mats at 2 cm thickness provide additional shock absorption. Protective nets are thickened and reinforced for enhanced containment strength.

All materials used are non-toxic and meet commercial safety requirements. The design meets international standards for child safety and durability, ensuring that every element contributes to a stable, long-lasting, and secure play environment. This facility exemplifies premium indoor playground equipment engineered by Zhenghan Play.

All components underwent standardized cutting, welding, and surface-treatment procedures to ensure dimensional accuracy and joint strength. Critical junctions are reinforced with concealed steel brackets and double-clamp couplers.

Installation followed ASTM F1918 and EN 1176 / EN 1177 standards, addressing structural integrity, impact attenuation, spacing, and material safety. Vertical columns are anchored to concrete foundations using mechanical expansion bolts, and all horizontal connections are torque-checked.

Platform heights, fall-clearance zones, EVA coverage, PVC/PU surface integrity, and net tension were verified on site.

Final inspection by Zhenghan Play confirmed load-bearing performance, padding thickness, moisture-resistant board stability, FRP slide quality, flame-retardant PVC and PU compliance, and net containment reliability.

The Kidtastic Park indoor playground is fully compliant, structurally stable, flame-retardant, non-toxic, and suitable for long-term commercial use.
